Earlier this week, Anna Claire wrote the word "kilt" on this paper and then announced, "Mommy, I wrote 'kilt'."
Then I asked her if she knew what a kilt was. "No," she said.
I laughed.
Then I explained that it is a skirt that a man can wear and that it usually has a plaid pattern. She looked at me, laughed and said, "No Mommy."
I said, "yes!" Then drew a kilt under her word. She drew the man wearing it.
Then yesterday we saw men wearing kilts at the St. Patricks Day parade! Perfect timing!
