I debated on whether or not to count our arrival day as day 1 or not, and decided not.
It was so late Sunday when we arrived (after 5pm), all we really did was go downstairs and eat in the restaurant in our building. It was the bomb though: view of the beach, we ordered mussels, clams, oysters, and AC took out so many mussels! So proud of our little seafood lover!
Of course we spent a good bit of time on arrival day just getting settled in. I call it moving in, because to truly feel like vacation for me, I like it to feel like home rather than living out of bags. We completely unpack so that we can just chillax and make it ours the time that we are there. LIVE THE DREAM.
After bedding Anna Claire down, I could tell that this year was going to be a piece of cake compared to last year. Last year, we could not get her to be in a room without one of us in there with her. It was pretty rough. Lots of crying. This year from the get-go, she said, "Good night Mommy, love you, see in mornin,'" and she was out.
Mommy and Daddy loving our big girl! She's grown up so much in a year.
