Anna Claire is so excited about going to Grandma's and spending the night. It took her an hour to fall asleep at nap, she is so worked up. It's funny because she keeps saying, "Mommy, you not going," or, "Daddy not going. Just ME," then gets an impish smile, then does a little clap and runs off with a hop in her step.
This will be her first night staying over anywhere. She's not scared a bit. In fact, she told me this morning, "Mommy, you and Daddy going to the river or somewhere. I'm going by myself."
I asked her, "What will you do, Anna Claire? Without Mommy and Daddy around?"
She said, "I'll be sneaky and do some nice stuff."
